Job summary

Maersk's Performance Team is seeking a full-time, on-site Operations Supervisor in New Jersey. You will oversee 20+ warehouse staff, coordinate receiving, storing, and shipping activities, and maintain inventory accuracy including cycle counts and payroll responsibilities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with related experience; strong planning, scheduling, and safety oversight are essential. Medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and flexible schedules are offered where possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Direct supervision of 20+ employees in operations.
• Familiarity with inventory control and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers in ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials.
• Maintain inventory records and perform cycle counts and variances investigations.
• Plan inbound/outbound schedules to meet customer metrics and staffing needs.
• Directly supervise 20+ employees, assign duties, and ensure safety procedures.
