Job summary

UNFI in Quincy, FL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily maintenance and sanitation activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with regulations. You will supervise maintenance associates, manage preventive maintenance tasks in the CMMS, monitor budgets, and coordinate with shipping/receiving to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

College or trade school degree desirable and/or equivalent work experience in refrigeration and electrical maintenance.
Thorough knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems.
Working knowledge of CMMS to document and schedule maintenance tasks and inventories.
Good leadership skills and ability to supervise others.
Must be able to motivate and work with others to achieve results.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Supervises maintenance associates and ensures preventive maintenance is in effect and performed on time.
Creates, monitors and generates planned maintenance tasks using CMMS.
Facilitates inspections as necessary.
Verifies work orders and inventory procedures followed; orders parts and tools.
Monitors sanitation compliance with regulations and supervises sanitation staff.
