Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a fast-paced team in daily distribution center operations. You will oversee shipping and receiving, drive process improvements, and ensure inventory accuracy while maintaining safety and policy compliance.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reporting, and cross-department collaboration to meet customer needs and uphold UNFI's standards of service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong general knowledge of warehousing operations and proven lead/supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret computerized reports and manage administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and supervises shipping/receiving associates.
• Controls production standards and accuracy of shipments/receiving using appropriate programs.
• Maintains daily production and accuracy records.
• Processes store returns and returns to vendors per company policy.
• Coordinates with Inventory Control on slotting, rotation and space allocation.
• Conducts daily crew meetings focusing on safety, productivity and accuracy.
• Communicates with Transportation about backhaul flow and receipt.
• Supervises inbound load appointment scheduling.
