Job summary

General Mills Hannibal Plant is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Supervisor to lead a material handling team and drive world-class results on a 12.5-hour 2-2-3 schedule (5:30 pm–6:00 am). The role emphasizes safety, process rigor, training, and direction setting to support production departments and the full logistics operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years’ logistics/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to use inventory management tools (Red Prairie/SAP/Excel).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
• Flexibility to work off shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a material handling team to improve skills and collaboration.
• Lead safety improvement initiatives and address concerns promptly.
• Provide leadership aligned to plant goals and daily operations.
• Conduct team meetings to communicate changes and priorities.
• Support raw material and finished goods cycle counts.
• Build relationships to enable cross-boundary collaboration.
• Coach and guide the team to deliver year-over-year results using CI tools.
• Ensure timely materials flow and deliverables.
• Plan wage staffing to match material flow needs weekly.
• Develop performance apps and growth plans.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Planning and Maintenance.
