Job summary

General Mills Hannibal Plant seeks a Warehouse Logistics Supervisor (Team Leader) to guide a material handling team in a 12.5-hour 2-2-3 shift schedule from 5:30 pm to 6:00 am. You will drive safety, process rigor, training, and daily objectives for outstanding production support.

You will collaborate with Quality, Operations and Planning, leading continuous improvement efforts and ensuring smooth flow of materials across the plant’s logistics operations.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' relevant logistics/manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to understand and use inventory management tools (i.e. Red Prairie/SAP/Excel).
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate, develop and motivate a material handling work group.
• Identify, initiate, and lead safety improvement initiatives.
• Provide business leadership aligned with department and plant goals.
• Effectively conduct team meetings to communicate changes.
• Support raw material and finished goods cycle count program.
• Establish relationships to foster collaboration and innovative solutions.
• Facilitate and coach the work group to deliver yearly results through CI tools.
• Ensure timely deliverables around material flow.
