Job summary

MEI is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse staff, equipment, and inventory, including dispatching MEI and rental equipment per job requirements. You will schedule loads, ensure documentation, and maintain records.

The role emphasizes safety, team leadership, yard optimization, and daily reporting, with hands-on responsibilities and interaction with drivers, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum 2 years’ warehouse supervisory experience.
• Minimum two (2) years proven dispatching experience or comparable logistics coordination experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Supervise all shipping/receiving activities and document damages.
• Schedule incoming loads and appointment times.
• Maintain records for shipments and ensure MEI portal entries are accurate, complete and timely.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff, provide guidance and training, and enforce safety policies.
• Maintain warehouse condition consistent with company standards and optimize yard layouts.
• Oversee paperwork related to jobs, crew/equipment assignments, safety, and inspections.
• Review and adjust labor hours in ADP and obtain final manager approval.
• Update dispatch job board daily and coordinate with foreman and drivers for scheduling efficiency.
