Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee staff, equipment, and inventory in Chantilly, VA. You will dispatch and schedule equipment and manage paperwork related to maintenance and repairs, ensuring safety and efficiency across day-to-day operations.

The role requires two years of supervisory experience, dispatching experience, and proficient use of Microsoft Office. A valid driver's license is essential for local travel and on-site coordination.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Minimum 2 years’ warehouse supervisory experience.
• Minimum two years of dispatching or logistics coordination experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping, receiving, storage, packaging, and shipping of customer equipment; document damages.
• Schedule incoming loads and assign appointment times.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and ensure timely logging in MEI portal.
• Lead a team, provide training, and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain warehouse condition per company standards.
• Develop yard layouts to optimize storage and shipping operations.
• Drive continuous improvement within warehouse operations.
• Interact with customers, drivers, vendors, auditors, and visitors per MEI policies.
• Prepare and distribute required paperwork for jobs, safety, and equipment repairs.
• Maintain and track repairs of company-owned equipment.
• Update dispatch board daily with pending/confirmed jobs.
• Communicate daily with foreman and drivers for scheduling efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
