Job summary

Eastern Metal Supply is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead to guide team members on assigned shifts and ensure safe, accurate, and timely order processing. The role supports supervision with training, coaching, and process improvements while maintaining high performance standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of warehouse experience with strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks to warehouse team members and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Provide on-the-floor leadership, guidance, and support to team members.
• Assist in evaluating staff performance and provide input for reviews and development.
• Cover for the Shift Supervisor during absences.
• Promote and support warehouse safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Ensure PPE usage and safe operating practices at all times.
• Monitor orders and ensure accuracy and timely shipment.
