Job summary

West Elm is seeking a Visual Merchandising Lead to partner with store management to execute display strategy and floorset plans. You will mentor the visual team, drive productivity, and maintain visual standards to keep the store a neighborhood destination for inspiration.

You will analyze reports to find opportunities, coordinate with leadership on inventory needs, and support onboarding with hands-on training and development of staff.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail sales experience with shift supervision preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in home related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead visual merchandising and display. Partner with GM/DVM to map, plan and execute floorset timeline targets to drive sales and execute seasonal strategy.
• Lead and maintain daily disciplines and routines that maximize efficient execution of markdowns, promotions/signage, replenishment and recovery.
• Communicates inventory need to DM and distribution in partnership with GM to increase sell-through and maximize margin.
• Partner with GM on associate productivity and performance related to visual standards.
• Serves as a learning partner and guide during associate onboarding. Facilitates visual training and skill building activities as required for visual team.
