Job summary

The ASPCA Community Veterinary Clinic in New York on-site is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician Staff and Floor Manager to lead medical workflows and support HQHVSN and primary care services for cats and dogs. You will collaborate with veterinarians, technicians and assistants to ensure high-quality care and client communication.

Responsibilities include floor management, technician duties, staff coaching, and maintaining compliance with CM protocols.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New York State Veterinary Technician license.
• Minimum five years experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician in small animal medicine/surgery.
• Experience in shelter medicine or high-volume spay/neuter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of veterinary technician functions including venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, diagnostics and patient recovery.
• Support HQHVSN and PPC for cats and dogs; assist veterinarians and other staff.
• Direct workflow on the clinic floor, coach staff, and ensure adherence to CM SOPs.
