Job summary

ACCESS Los Angeles is seeking a Supervisor for the Bone and Joint team. The role leads the technical staff on the clinical floor, resolves operational issues, and supports the Department Manager to ensure optimal patient care.

The ideal candidate has RVT licensure and at least three years in a management role within veterinary medicine, with strong communication and leadership skills. On-call and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of management or leadership experience in a veterinary setting.
• Experience in specialty veterinary medicine is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bone and Joint Department on the clinical floor and act as liaison to the Department Manager.
• Assign daily tasks and case support based on rounds and department needs.
• Reassign staff during slower periods to maintain productivity.
• Ensure daily cleaning and hygienic standards in the treatment area and on equipment.
• Coordinate training and skill development for technical staff.
