Job summary

ACCESS Los Angeles seeks a Supervisor for the Bone and Joint team on the clinical floor. This hands-on role leads the technical staff, resolves operational issues, and partners with doctors to optimize workflow and patient care.

The ideal candidate will mentor staff, coordinate training, and oversee inventory and equipment such as laparoscopy items and anesthetic machines while maintaining high standards of sterility and safety.

Qualifications

• RVT credential and anesthesia skills required.
• Minimum five years in the veterinary field.
• At least three years in a management/leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bone and Joint Department daily operations on the clinical floor.
• Coordinate with doctors to optimize workflow and ensure timely resolutions.
• Mentor and supervise technical staff; manage inventory of medications and supplies.
• Oversee training and onboarding of new staff; maintain equipment and hygiene standards.
• Participate in weekly leadership meetings to improve department performance.
