Bucksport Veterinary Hospital in Orland, ME is hiring a full-time Lead Veterinary Receptionist to lead our front desk, set the standard for client service, and support team excellence. You will guide the front desk team, discuss procedures with clients, coordinate appointments, and anticipate needs to strengthen relationships and patient care.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience at a front desk or client-service team.
• Ability to guide and mentor staff; coordinate appointments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving in a medical setting.

Responsabilités

• Deliver outstanding, compassionate client service and set the tone for the front desk.
• Coach and support CSRs; provide on-the-job training and guidance.
• Assist with onboarding new front desk staff and resolve conflicts.
• Screen calls calmly and escalate to the Practice Manager as needed.
• Ensure accurate scheduling, check-in/check-out, and client communication.
• Maintain knowledge of hospital services, policies, and pricing.
• Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and management for smooth workflow.
• Handle phones, emails, and online requests promptly and consistently.
• Model reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

Salary: $22 - $25 per hour, based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, typically scheduled as four 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts.No weekend hours!

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with training and onboarding new front desk team members. Resolving conflicts among front desk staff members.
