Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service in medical, dental, veterinary, or high-volume service setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including active listening.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and multi-line phone systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new software.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients at the front desk and confirm appointment details in a professional manner.
• Answer multi-line phone system and manage scheduling inquiries.
• Process client payments and schedule future appointments.
• Provide compassionate service to clients experiencing anxiety or distress regarding their pet's health.
• Accurate data entry and maintain records in the practice management system.
• Communicate with clinical staff to relay messages and flag urgent situations.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception and waiting area.
