A biomedical research organization is seeking a Senior Veterinary Pathologist, Pathology Core Chief, to provide expert pathology services in support of animal studies. This role involves managing necropsy and histology processes in a BSL-4 environment. The ideal candidate will be board certified in veterinary pathology and have leadership abilities. Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a BSL‑4 setting with select agents.
• Board certified Veterinary Pathologist (DVM, ACVP); with PhD preferred.
• Previous recent biocontainment (BSL‑3 or BSL‑4) experience required; BSL‑4 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pathology services to support animal studies.
• Responsible for coordinating pathology and histology support.
• Perform and facilitate gross and histologic examination of samples.
