The position is about 25% administrative and 75% clinical, overseeing staff, scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations, while supporting hospital goals and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a veterinary nursing team member required.
• One year of leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Credential preferred: LVT/CVT/RVT.
• Fluent English speaking and reading required.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on clinical leader while actively participating in patient care and supporting Surgery, Pack Prep, & Dentistry operations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff while promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Manage daily workflows and staffing to ensure efficient department operations.
• Create and adjust staff schedules to maintain appropriate coverage.
• Conduct interviews and support onboarding of new team members.
• Perform evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
• Oversee payroll processes, attendance, and PTO requests.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership on performance management.
