Westfield Veterinary Group in Union, NJ is seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Technician / Outpatient Supervisor. This leadership role oversees daily outpatient workflow, coordinates staff assignments, and provides hands-on training to technicians and assistants while supporting veterinarians and hospital operations.

You will supervise clinical procedures, maintain documentation, and foster a collaborative, high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years veterinary technician experience.
• Leadership, supervisory, or lead technician experience preferred.
• Strong outpatient, treatment, and patient-care skills.
• Experience training, mentoring, or supporting team development.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outpatient workflow and appointments.
• Coordinate technician and assistant assignments.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to staff.
• Support onboarding and develop team clinical skills.
