Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrollment in AVMA-accredited Vet Tech program a plus.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• LVT/CVT/RVT credential preferred.
• Minimum of two years veterinary nursing experience.
• Minimum of one year leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience in specialty, emergency, or referral medicine preferred.
• Fluent English (speaking and reading).

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and support Cardiology & Internal Medicine operations.
• Manage daily workflows and staffing for efficient department operations.
• Create and adjust staff schedules based on patient volume.
• Conduct interviews and support onboarding of new team members.
• Perform performance evaluations and provide coaching.
• Oversee payroll, attendance, and PTO requests.
• Collaborate on compensation recommendations with leadership.
• Partner with Clinical Trainer on training initiatives.
• Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, and hospital resources are optimized.
• Support hospital initiatives and continuous improvement.
