Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• USCG Mate/Pilot license or higher is required.
• Valid FCC Radio License is necessary.
• Radar endorsement or certification is needed.
• CPR & 1st Aid Certification is required.
• Must have a valid TWIC.
• Proficient computer skills, including email and navigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations using safety systems and policies.
• Supervise crew in consultation with Captain.
• Ensure navigation complies with regulations.
• Promote leadership and harmony among crew members.
• Delegate duties based on crew experience.
