Ergon Marine & Industrial Supply, Inc. in Vicksburg, MS seeks a Harbor Boat Pilot to ensure safe and efficient operation of vessels and tows in compliance with Coast Guard rules and company policy.

The role requires inspecting gear, supervising deck crews, maintaining records, coordinating tow operations, and training junior pilots as needed. A valid USCG license, TWIC, and a current driver''s license are required.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED.
• U.S. Coast Guard license as Master of Towing Vessels/Limited Master of Towing.
• Must be able to swim.
• Valid TWIC Card.
• Valid driver''s license.

Mansioni

• Ensure company policy, rules and regulations are followed.
• Inspect vessel and tow for safety, maintenance, and readiness for voyage.
• Provide customer service according to EMIS Mission Statement.
• Maintain fleets and equipment; document fleet checks every six hours or per MARSEC levels.
• Supervise deck crew and ensure PPE usage; conduct safety briefings with crew.
