Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Manager, Test & Development Vehicle Testing to lead a team that validates Rivian’s vehicles across proving grounds and remote locations. You will ensure testing efficiency, data quality, and drive capabilities in a fast-paced development environment.

The role requires 10+ years in vehicle testing, a Bachelor’s in Engineering, hands-on instrumentation, and travel up to 25%. You will collaborate with Dynamics, Powertrain, NVH, and other teams to deliver actionable test data

Qualifications

10+ years in a vehicle testing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related science.
Hands-on experience with in-vehicle test equipment and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead a team performing full vehicle and subsystem development and validation testing.
Plan vehicle tests, manage timing, budgets, software updates, and data collection.
Oversee test documentation and reports from testing projects.
Coordinate on-site and off-site testing locations and conditions.
Develop and refine the DVP plan for new programs within FLOW.
Lead root-cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
