Carvana in Concord, NC is hiring a Production Supervisor to directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates in our Inspection Center, ensuring daily production and quality targets are met.

You will coach and develop staff, monitor safety, coordinate with the Inspection Center GM to decide on inventory repair or rejection, and foster a constructive, fast-paced work environment aligned with Carvana values. This full-time role requires lifting up to 60 pounds and weekend OT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated functional expertise in Carvana's reconditioning process.
• Demonstrated understanding of lean principles.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (last 3 years).
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; majority of lifting knee to shoulder height.
• Standing for extended periods with potential environmental challenges (cold/hot/noisy).
• Ability to use safety equipment (face shield/goggles, gloves, etc.).
• Ability to maintain high volume and high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends.

Responsabilités

• Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the team; identify strengths and opportunities.
• Coach, develop and provide performance feedback to team members.
• Create a work environment that supports communication, cohesion, and Carvana values.
• Communicate expectations and performance metrics clearly to the team.
• Resolve conflicts among team members.
• Ensure adherence to systems, policies, and procedures.
• Review and approve identified defects of incoming inventory.
• Lead a team and collaborate with the Inspection Center GM on repairs or rejects based on cost and quality.
• Train team using Quality Control standards to minimize re-checks and delays.
• Identify and complete repairs efficiently to minimize rework and delays.
• Maintain safety to prevent injuries in the shop.
