Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an experienced engineering leader to pilot a CAD design team responsible for the Transfer Stage Vehicle within the Lunar Permanence unit. You will guide design engineers, manage release workflows, and ensure robust CAD models are delivered on time for lunar transport programs.

You will recruit and mentor engineers, develop processes to boost team capability, and communicate progress to senior leadership while balancing technical risk with program milestones.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years directly related experience.
• Experience with CAD Creo, Windchill, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of designers in generating, integrating, and releasing CAD models.
• Develop and release CAD models for the Transfer Stage Vehicle within Lunar Permanence.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team.
• Develop tools and processes to improve team capability and performance.
• Communicate progress to leadership and manage technical risk and schedules.
