Job summary

Blue Origin in Denver, CO is seeking a Vehicle CAD Manager for the Lunar Permanence program to lead a team of drafters and design engineers in creating, maintaining, and releasing CAD models for the Transfer Stage Vehicle. You will recruit, hire, mentor, and develop your team, and drive plans meeting technical, schedule, and cost goals, while communicating progress to leadership.

A BS in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years CAD leadership are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical subject area.
• 10+ years directly related experience in CAD leadership or aerospace design.
• Experience with CAD (Creo), PLM (Windchill), and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Strong track record delivering complex products on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of designers in generating, integrating, and releasing CAD models for the Transfer Stage Vehicle.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, and develop a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team.
• Develop tools and processes to improve team capability and performance; manage progress to meet deliverables.
