Job summary

Milhouse Forestry, LLC is seeking a Foreman to lead vegetation management crews in Georgia. The role involves operating bucket trucks or other machinery, training trimmers and grounds personnel, enforcing safety and recording attendance and safety data, and communicating with customers and property owners.

You will report to the General Foreman and ensure safety procedures are followed. The position requires field experience, ability to assess circuit clearances, strong written communication,

Qualifications

• Must have field experience as vegetation management crew member.
• Must have the ability to evaluate circuit conditions and hours required to complete required clearances to utility specifications.
• Must have computer knowledge.
• Must be able to communicate with various levels of field and management personnel and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead vegetation management crews.
• Ensure utility specifications are followed.
• Coordinate with General Foreman.
• Pre-inspect projects and plan labor/equipment to match work and cost estimates.
• Maintain project maps showing status, crew locations and completion dates.
• Inspect crews, start/stop times and shop locations.
• Audit time sheets for accuracy.
• Assist with customer notifications and complaints.
• Review assignments and conduct post-work critiques.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies for crews.
• Coordinate activities with General Foreperson and utility representatives.
