Job summary

Milhouse Forestry, LLC seeks a Foreman to lead vegetation management crews in the field, ensuring safety and proper execution of utility specifications. You will train crews, coordinate with the General Foreman, and maintain project records and cost estimates.

The role requires travel up to 85% with a 40-hour week, overtime during emergencies, and strong reporting and communication skills. Signing and stay bonuses accompany the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must have field experience as vegetation management crew member.
• Ability to evaluate circuit conditions and hours required to complete required clearances to utility specifications.
• Must have computer knowledge.
• Must be able to write reports and communicate with various levels of field and management personnel.
• Due to hazardous equipment, employees must maintain attention and concentration for extended periods.
• Must be able to pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Records Check (MVR).
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Leads vegetation management crews.
• Ensures utility specifications are followed.
• Coordinates with General Foreman.
• Pre-inspects projects and develops management plans aligning labor/equipment to work and costs.
• Maintains project circuit maps with status, locations, and completion dates.
• Inspects crews, start/stop times, and project locations.
• Audits time sheets for accuracy.
• Assists with customer notifications and complaints.
• Previews work assignments and conducts post-work critiques.
• Maintains inventory of tools and supplies.
• Coordinates with General Foreperson and utility representatives.
• This is a minimum 40-hour work week with overnight travel 85% of the time.
• Performs other duties as required.
