Qualifications

• Previous softball coaching or playing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fundamentals and player development.

• Must be willing to complete all IHSA and district coaching requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead daily practices focused on skill development and fundamentals.
• Coach and supervise athletes during games, practices, and team events.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship and a positive team culture.
• Develop the varsity program's philosophy and expectations.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents and coaching staff.
• Support student‑athlete academic success and eligibility.
