Norwalk Community School District is seeking a Head Coach at Norwalk High School to lead the athletics program for the season beginning Spring 2027. You will plan and implement practices, coach athletes, and collaborate with the Athletic Director to ensure compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• Coaching authorization or license required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes regarding techniques, rules and safety practices of the sport.
• Develop and organize a practice program.
• Schedule and conduct practices according to agreed-upon schedules.
• Supervise athletes from practice start to finish and ensure whereabouts at all times.
• Supervise athletes on buses during trips to other schools.
• Promote the Norwalk Athletics program to students and families.
• Model ethical conduct and support officials at contests.
• Foster sportsmanship and pride in self, team, school, and community.
• Promote healthy lifestyles among student athletes.
• Assist the athletic director with eligibility lists and required documentation.
