Job summary

ABM is seeking a Lead Valet to oversee valet operations, ensuring safe parking and timely vehicle retrieval while delivering outstanding customer service. You will lead a team of attendants, coordinate traffic flow and guest interactions, and handle payments and revenue reporting.

The role is outdoors, in all climates, requiring a 21+ age minimum, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package.

• A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate traffic flow
• Communicate valet procedures, information and directions clearly with guests
• Understand and respond to basic customer and team inquiries
• Monitor illegal parking and store vehicles
• Interact with guests in a friendly manner
• Assist guests with loading and unloading
• Collect and secure guest keys
• Predict and communicate peak traffic flow and lot issues
• Arrange extra support for extended wait times
• Tally and split the tip pool
• Receive and receipt valet payments
• Reconcile and report daily revenue
• Manage currency/coin requirements and re-order as needed
• Operate, park and retrieve vehicles safely per laws and policies
• Work outdoors in all climates for extended periods
• Keep work area clean of debris
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must operate both standard and automatic transmissions
