Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks a Principal Digital Factory UX/UI Test Engineer to lead UI/UX design, front-end testing, usability validation, and regression automation for Ignition-based applications, MES workflows, dashboards, and IIoT-enabled systems.

Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, software developers, and stakeholders to design intuitive user interfaces, validate operator workflows, prevent defects, and establish department-wide testing standards across the Connected Factory

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years in UI/UX design, front-end testing, or digital manufacturing systems.
• Experience with Figma, Ignition, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead UI/UX design and front-end testing for Ignition-based apps and MES workflows.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and final layouts using Figma and Ignition Designer.
• Establish UX patterns and testing standards across the Connected Factory Intelligence domain.
• Automate regression tests and integrate into Azure DevOps pipelines.
