Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Principal Digital Factory UX/UI Test Engineer to lead UI/UX design and front-end testing for connected factory applications. You will drive intuitive operator experiences, validate implementation fidelity, and establish test automation within Azure DevOps pipelines.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers and operations, delivering regression tests and UX validation to ensure high-quality releases in a DoD context.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, front-end testing, human-machine interfaces, or digital manufacturing systems.
• Experience designing user-centric interfaces using Figma, Ignition, or similar tools.
• Experience in front-end testing, UX validation, and test plan development.

Responsibilities

• Lead UI/UX design for Ignition screens, MES workflows, dashboards, and digital factory apps.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and final layouts using Figma and Ignition Designer.
• Establish UX patterns and interaction guidelines across CFI applications.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to align designs with operator needs.
