Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Digital Factory UX/UI Test Engineer for the Connected Factory Intelligence team. You will lead UI/UX design, front-end testing, usability validation, and regression automation for Ignition-based applications, MES workflows, dashboards, and IIoT-enabled systems.

Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, front-end testing, human-machine interfaces, or digital manufacturing systems.
Experience designing user-centric interfaces using Figma, Ignition, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

UI/UX Design Leadership for Ignition screens, MES workflows, dashboards, and digital factory applications.
Lead the design of modern, intuitive UI/UX and ensure alignment with operator needs.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and final layouts using Figma and Ignition Designer.
Establish consistent UX patterns, visual standards, and interaction guidelines for all CFI applications.
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure designs meet manufacturing workflows.
Own the front-end testing strategy for digital factory applications.
Develop and execute test plans for usability, workflow accuracy, and navigation.
