Job summary
Link Engineering Company in Plymouth, Michigan is hiring a Software Engineer, UI/UX to design and support a customer-facing production machine control web application. The role emphasizes UI/UX design, Angular development, and integration with a WebAPI for data acquisition and control of precision equipment.
You will contribute across the product life cycle, working with cross-functional teams to deliver robust interfaces, ensure performance, and meet project milestones while adhering to safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, SCSS, and HTML.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with Angular and RxJS.
- Experience with RESTful WebAPI and asynchronous web programming.
- Experience in hardware or robotics is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build UI interfaces using Angular, Bootstrap and internal tooling.
- Develop intuitive user experiences around a custom WebAPI.
- Ensure UI performance for SPA/PWA applications.
- Collaborate with engineers and customers on controls concepts.
- Review specifications and contribute robust, well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain version control discipline.
