Job summary

Citi is seeking a VP Product Designer to lead UX design and design systems across enterprise platforms. You will craft scalable components, collaborate with engineering, research, and product teams, and drive AI-powered design initiatives.

The role emphasizes systems thinking, strong Figma expertise, and a detail-oriented approach to deliver high-quality user experiences at scale. Hybrid work and global impact are core to the position.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial experience in Product Design, UX or Design Systems.
• Proven experience building and scaling enterprise design systems.
• Strong expertise in Figma, including components, variants, tokens, and handoff.
• Experience designing AI-powered products, copilots, or intelligent workflows.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA) and user-centered design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on product experiences at speed in an agile environment.
• Build and maintain scalable design system components from tokens to docs.
• Collaborate with engineers, product and research to translate requirements into production designs.
• Own the developer handoff with clean Figma specs and annotated assets.
• Partner with QA to catch design drift during implementation and ensure alignment.
• Contribute to and evolve the component library with clear naming and docs.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and iteration cycles.
• Participate in design critiques to raise craft and usability standards.
• Maintain meticulous attention to typography, spacing, color, and accessibility.
