Ampstek seeks an experienced Lead UX Designer to drive user experience initiatives for enterprise digital products. You will combine UX strategy, research, interaction and visual design to lead teams and collaborate with product, business, and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities include end-to-end UX design, defining UX strategies, conducting user research and usability testing, creating personas and journey maps, and mentoring other designers while ensuring accessibility and responsive

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in UX/UI Design with leadership experience.
  • Strong user-centered design and design thinking experience.
  • Hands-on user research, flows, wireframes, prototyping, interaction & visual design.
  • Proficient with Figma and design systems.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end UX design from discovery through implementation.
  • Define UX strategies and user-centered solutions aligned with objectives.
  • Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing and feedback sessions.
  • Create personas, journey maps, user flows, IA, wireframes and prototypes.
  • Develop high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes.
  • Establish and maintain design systems and patterns.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into intuitive experiences.
  • Lead reviews, workshops and design-thinking sessions.
  • Provide UX direction and mentorship to other designers.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Present concepts to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify UX issues and opportunities and propose improvements.
  • Ensure accessibility, usability, and responsive design standards.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead UX Designer to lead user experience design initiatives for enterprise digital products and applications. The ideal candidate will combine strong UX strategy, user research, interaction design, and visual design skills with the ability to lead design teams and collaborate closely with product, business, and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end UX design process from discovery and research through design delivery and implementation.
  • Define UX strategies, design principles, and user-centered solutions aligned with business and customer objectives.
  • Conduct and facilitate user research, interviews, usability testing, and customer feedback sessions.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Develop high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes.
  • Establish and maintain design systems, UX standards, and reusable design patterns.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive and scalable experiences.
  • Lead design reviews, workshops, and design-thinking sessions.
  • Provide UX direction and mentorship to other designers.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Conduct usability reviews and validate solutions through user testing.
  • Present design concepts and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify UX issues and opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility, usability, and responsive design standards.
Required Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in UX/UI Design with experience leading UX initiatives.
  • Strong experience with user-centered design and design thinking.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • User Research
    • User Flows
    • Wireframing
    • Prototyping
    • Interaction Design
    • Visual/UI Design
    • Usability Testing
  • Strong proficiency with Figma.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Design Systems.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences.
