Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of field SUE experience.
• Knowledge of municipal utility infrastructure and SUE methods.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to standards.
• Ability to read maps and blueprints and interpret field data.

Responsibilities

• Direct and participate in field activities of crew performing equipment operations, technical tasks, and manual labor.
• Locate underground utilities including fiber, telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of all field data; verify compliance with standards.
• Maintain equipment and supervise safety practices; ensure proper use of PPE.
• Coordinate field tasks, assist in SUE surveying, and document results for client use.
