Job summary

Tyson Foods is recruiting for a Utilities and Buildings & Grounds Supervisor in the United States to operate, maintain, and improve plant utility systems including ammonia refrigeration, steam, boilers, HVAC, and water distribution. This frontline supervisory role ensures reliability, safety, and compliance in a fast-paced food processing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
• 3+ years’ in industrial maintenance, boiler/refrigeration, or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration theory.
• Proficient in Windows-based applications; able to use email, enter data, and create basic queries; SAP-PM familiarity.
• CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead hourly maintenance team members supporting boilers, refrigeration systems, building maintenance, and PSM activities.
• Establish work schedules and priorities to meet facility needs.
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems; ensure regulatory compliance and preventive maintenance.
