Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Usability Engineer to lead interdisciplinary teams in defining user workflows and experiences for MR medical devices. You will conduct usability tests with end users to support regulatory approval and product quality, while working hands-on with devices to drive issue resolution.

You will collaborate with design, development, and regulatory teams to ensure user-centered design informs all stages of product development and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or related field.
• 5+ years professional experience in usability/human factors or related area.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead usability design and analyses across development teams.
• Capture and analyze user workflow and experience issues from end users.
• Develop study plans, scripts and reports for formative and summative studies.
• Participate in design reviews focusing on user workflows and interface design.
• Ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into product development.
