Job summary

Engenious Design in the United States seeks a Senior Human Factors Engineer to improve safety and usability of life-changing devices. You will observe clinicians and patients, translate insights for engineers and product managers, and collaborate on high-tech medical systems that impact healthcare outcomes.

You’ll conduct field observations, interviews, and regulatory-ready documentation, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered design solutions across medical and consumer

Qualifications

Plan and conduct formative and summative usability studies.
Translate research findings into user needs and design inputs.
Familiar with FDA, ISO, IEC, ANSI/AAMI and related standards.
Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus.
Effective communication with engineers, designers and management.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct user research to uncover needs and workflows.
Create protocol plans and proctor usability studies (formative and summative).
Be subject matter expert in IEC 60601, IEC 62366, ISO 14971 and HE75.
Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with designers, engineers and product managers on user-centered design.
Build a portfolio through medical and consumer product projects.
