Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Augusta, GA is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join a high-volume urgent care team. You will provide patient-focused care across urgent and primary care services, including telemedicine and occupational medicine, with strong emphasis on leadership and continuous learning.

The ideal candidate is at early career stage or new grad, with on-site HQ orientation and comprehensive training. Competitive benefits and strong support program are offered.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher education required.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (we cover cost).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID and other URIs.
• Minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal).
• Suturing.
• Splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• General dermatology and eye problems.
• General EKG interpretations and emergency management skills.
• General gynecology expertise.
• Treating children of all ages.
• Occupational medicine and telemedicine.
