Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Milledgeville, GA is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced urgent care team. You will provide patient-focused care across ages, lead a small team, and work with established clinicians after on-site orientation and training.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN, or higher education required (New graduate friendly!).
• DOT certification preferred or willing to obtain (cost covered).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients within your scope of practice.
• Lead a small team and coordinate care in a high-volume urgent care setting.
• Perform minor procedures and suturing.
• Splinting and orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of x-rays with radiologist.
• General dermatology and eye care responsibilities.
• Provide telemedicine when appropriate.
• Occupational medicine duties and emergency management.
