M&T Bank seeks a Unique Assets Officer to oversee closely held business assets held in fiduciary accounts, ensuring alignment with trust terms and asset function.

The role provides planning, leadership, and problem resolution for the team, overseeing LLC/LP asset activity and allocations, while ensuring governance compliance and effective investment reviews. Located in Clanton, Alabama, a focus on internal controls and audits supports regulatory alignment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience at a bank or another similar financial institution, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years’ bank or financial services experience
• Minimum of two years work leadership, supervisory or managerial experience
• Experience managing unique assets and closely held businesses

Responsabilidades

• Provide oversight of closely held business assets held in fiduciary accounts where the Bank is acting as trustee or in a similar capacity
• Oversee and monitor activity of closely held business assets, including allocations from LLC/LP and governance agreements
• Perform regular assessments of the closely held business assets to ensure proper management
• Coordinate inclusion of assets into investment reviews performed for accounts
• Provide planning, leadership and problem resolution for the team
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand
• Maintain internal controls and address audit/regulator points
• Exercise usual managerial authority over staffing, performance, and promotions
