Job summary

Old National Bank is seeking a seasoned Unique Asset Manager to oversee fiduciary real estate and other unique assets within Trustdesk platform accounts in Chicago. This role requires leadership, deep knowledge of real estate valuation, registration, leasing, and risk oversight, and collaboration with Trust Officers and wealth advisors.

The position reports to the Senior Manager - Wealth Unique Assets Group and offers the opportunity to drive prudent asset administration and client service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree (e.g., JD or MBA) or professional licenses (e.g., CTFA, CFP, CPA) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of trust administration, fiduciary real estate, unique asset management, commercial real estate, or related experience.
• Must possess strong relationship building skills including verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience working with compliance, auditors, and regulators regarding real estate and unique asset administration.
• Advanced working knowledge of fiduciary real estate administration, including valuation, property inspections, insurance, environmental risk, leasing, property management, acquisitions, dispositions, and vendor oversight; experience with closely held businesses and mineral, oil and gas interests is preferred.
• Operate effectively in an environment that stresses both individual accountability and team-based performance.
• Desire a team environment, collaborating with experienced professionals from multiple disciplines to deliver high quality client service.
• Thorough working knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with CRM tools and trust accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Administrate fiduciary real estate and other unique assets for Trustdesk platform accounts.
• Supervise designated officers and support staff as needed.
• Develop and maintain procedures, controls, and reporting for real estate and other unique assets.
• Provide detailed status reporting regarding real estate and other unique assets to TAC and governance forums.
• Achieve negotiated performance standards including timely real estate reviews and inspections, audit results, and client satisfaction.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of real estate and other unique assets with internal and external partners.
• Maintain compliance with fiduciary procedures and required documentation.
• Resolve complex account and asset issues involving real estate ownership, leasing, maintenance, valuation, and fiduciary decisions.
• Develop a network of Centers of Influence for client referrals.
• Arrange client meetings to introduce internal partners and expand relationships.
• Serve on or head working groups and councils as appointed.
