Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or appropriate insurance designation.
• Three years of underwriting or brokering E&S insurance products.
• Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance.
• Understanding of client needs and risk profiles.
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed production targets.
• Mentor and develop staff.
• Solicit, market, quote, bind and confirm new and existing business.
• Negotiate terms with markets and communicate decisions timely.
• Approve or disapprove endorsement and authority requests.
• Monitor production metrics and renewal retention.
• Maintain licenses to produce business.
