Job summary

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) is seeking an Underwriting Team Lead to guide a skilled group of underwriters in a fast-paced, office-based environment in Dallas.

You will empower the team, assign work, and help shape underwriting strategy and practices. You will collaborate with Distribution and Territory Managers, develop broker relationships, and ensure rating, pricing, and deal structuring align with guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excess & Surplus Property line of business and related regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of underwriters, assigning and overseeing work.
• Support underwriters in executing strategic initiatives and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with Distribution, Territory Managers and other lines of business to target desirable accounts.
