Job summary

GTS is seeking an Underground Foreman/Drilling Operator in Kissimmee, FL to oversee directional drilling crews and operate related equipment. You will read job layouts, identify utilities, and ensure maintenance and safe operation of all gear.

The role requires 3–5 years of drilling experience, a valid license, and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Responsibilities include monitoring bore logs, coordinating with team members, and upholding safety standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3–5 years operating a directional drill
• Experience operating a directional drill locator or similar equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and locate utilities and valves
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and proper equipment maintenance

Responsibilities

• Operate GTS drill equipment and related machinery
• Identify and locate utility placements and read job layouts
• Maintain GTS assets and ensure safe operation of equipment
• Read blueprints and organize materials to meet excavation needs
• Maintain bore logs and communicate effectively with crew
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions and adhere to safety protocols
