Job summary

GTS is looking for a Quality Control Specialist in Kissimmee, FL to support construction efforts by inspecting the work of the Aerial and Underground teams, including subcontractors. The role requires reading design prints, following safety protocols, and producing daily production reports.

Shaped for candidates with knowledge of cable/fiber construction, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a nationwide background check and drug screen.
• Knowledge of aerial and underground cable/fiber construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret CATV/Fiber design prints.
• VDOT work zone standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work performed by Aerial and Underground teams (inhouse and subcontractors).
• Complete daily production reports documenting work performed.
• Operate assigned construction equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and project requirements.
• Perform additional QC duties as assigned by management.
