Job summary

Allied Universal Services is currently seeking an Unarmed Shift Sergeant for the Montgomery, Alabama area. The role involves supervising the unarmed security team on a specific shift and coordinating with site leadership to ensure quality service delivery.

The position requires strong communication, crisis handling, and report-writing abilities, with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Part-time shifts include 1:15 PM – 9:45 PM and 9:15 PM – 5:45 AM.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare reports and logs in neat handwriting.
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and driving experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate delivery of services on a specific shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment guidelines.
