Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL, seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound examinations, position patients and equipment, and ensure high-quality images for interpretation. The role includes leading shift operations and transmitting images to PACS, with supervision responsibilities in the absence of the manager.

• Lead Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording.
• The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
• Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $39.50 to $57.64. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
