Job summary

Leidos on the Chinook Program is seeking a Sr. UI/IX Engineer to design and engineer intuitive, responsive user interfaces for mission-critical systems supporting an Intelligence Community customer.

You will collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, product owners, and mission stakeholders to transform complex requirements into elegant experiences that are efficient, accessible, and technically sound. The role involves Agile ceremonies and mentoring engineers across the team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building modern web interfaces for critical applications.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into usable UI/IX solutions.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of modern, responsive UI for mission-critical apps.
• Translate workflows into intuitive UI/IX solutions across teams.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers throughout development lifecycle.
• Develop reusable UI components and design standards for consistency and maintainability.
• Contribute to UI/IX best practices and participate in Agile ceremonies.
